今天星期四 跟教授報告完進度後 他說:你可以開始寫緒論了
這得拜碩士時期的專業訓練呀! 讓我第一次念博班就還挺上手.

中秋節到了! 也就是Moon Festival是國際知名的節日.

蕃邦第二十五週

本週三和教授討論 簡報報完後他說: 好樣的!~你正在軌道上(You are on track).

我知道阿 但是 在軌道上也是可能脫軌(off track)的 哈哈

仍是有堆書要看 網頁資料要看

在這資訊爆炸的時代 光是網頁資料就看不完了

從圖書館借來堆得像比薩斜塔的書 不斷續借N次了確也沒翻閱

儼然成為我房間的藝術雕像(sculpture)

就命名它為"圖書塔"(Books Tower)吧!

本作品欲傳達後現代研究生對過度飽和的資訊所發出的咒怨.

真會虎爛. XD

這是附近'中央公園' 是一個好地點 運動 散步 或暫時離開書本
要看的書多歸多 真相是~看你需要的部份就好 這就是唸書的技術
所以 再多書也不用怕

經過這些日子的研讀 我敢說拿到學位 是遲早的事
將在計畫中 一步步實現.

是關於"賽局理論"發明人的事蹟
他是'約翰 納許'博士 (Professor Nash)
然後我也一直在追尋我研究的原創性 也就是"Original Idea"!!

蕃邦第貳拾肆週

8月結束了

經精算後 料理成本每餐63.24台幣

這個月主要是在搞墨爾本市區的公共藝術競賽

感想是 這是一連串焦慮的過程 比產品設計焦慮

特別是公共藝術

當我實地走訪街道時 腦中不停的思考 他們要什麼?這個地方要什麼?缺什麼?

若以上皆未知 那麼我又想傳達什麼? 什麼?什麼?什麼? #$%&*...

公共藝術是向大眾發聲呀!!

為充實版面 就先把作品圖面貼上來給大家看好了

這東西預計用投影機投影在地上 會動唷!

詳細敘述就懶得翻譯了 大家就用'心'感受吧!

The Missing Pieces is an animation image projected on the ground by projector. There are two projectors. One of them is located in the dark place under the railway bridge at the corner of Flinders Street and Market Street, and another is located at Foxton Lane.
The animation image contains several pieces of jigsaw puzzle. The color of each piece is different, which represents different emotion, incident, or a secret within the workings of the mind and their different perception of this city.
These puzzles appear slowly roaming and hesitating. They gradually aggregate as if they are a completed jigsaw puzzle, but there are always missing pieces. Where are they? If you accidentally have passed by both sites, you may surprisingly find them. However, it doesn’t matter that whether the missing pieces should belong to either site of puzzle pieces, but they should activate passerby’s attention and thinking.
This artwork, The Missing Pieces, Will not be seen during daylight hours. It is practically due to the nature of a projected animation image and the purpose of lighting up the dark and insecure areas (the areas under the railway bridge are virtually horrible). As to the poetic reason, things appear obviously when we see them in the daytime, but only can we see those dark sites in the nighttime.

放眼九月 繼續文獻回顧(就是有一堆書要念的意思) 讓研究更聚焦.

經計算 本月份三餐自理平均一餐成本是61左右新台幣

星期一要去市區交件 比賽那件事 該準備的都裝起來了


恩... 本週沒啥特別的事...
好吧 說說週三早上的一件事
那是每週三早上9點的
"學習與學術技巧支援"( Library and Learning Skills Support)課程
用來支援這些活到老學到老的高學位學生們
老外最喜歡'分組討論' 我自然就與坐在旁邊的一個不老的洋妞一組
她先自我介紹: 你好 我叫'丹妮爾' (好男性化的名子) 我說我叫Jess
開始討論時她批哩趴啦的講完一堆並對我說"恩..你同意嗎?"
我說:同意 然後順便問她文中一個我不懂的單字
結果她也不懂 我說:呵呵~連妳這洋人都不懂這字 我現在覺得好過多了.
(其實我對那字有一點點薄弱的印象)
這故事告訴我 他們也會有不識字的時候

我的同學

有的要用助聽器
有的要用放大鏡
他們都比我老
這就是博士班

我嚴然是其中的年輕小夥子
唉~~~

至於這個月要搞的公共藝術比賽 以下是我作品的概念的敘述:

As a city is continuously growing, things are improved, upgraded, changed, forgotten, discarded…Similar to me and perhaps other people else, on one hand, I gained more, and on the other hand, I lost more.
I don’t know what pieces the city and people missed.
So I would like to ask people to find them.
There are some pieces dropped from this daily commute route hesitating at the corner of Market St & Flinders St.
Some parts escaped to the nearby alley, Foxton lane, a dead-end.

After I made sure this point, I also felt that I found the missing part of the purpose of my going to the city.

圖面就等到結果揭曉後公佈 現在是機密 呵呵.

但只要是我創作的 都期許是一種跨界的混種(Hybrid)

蕃邦第二十週

本週的結束 是8月的開始

8月 將所有心思放在墨爾本市區的公共藝術競圖(簡單來說就是設計比賽啦)
Laneway Project 會選出兩位藝術家 作品將佇立在市區街道上
這是我來到蕃邦的第一次嘗試 也是創作研究的第一件作品
下週 我會花3~4天 在那街道上細細走訪 觀察 紀錄 拍攝 所見 所聞
然後再用3~4天回顧文獻
於是企圖將我所實地勘查到的正在發生的動態的人事物與過去堆積凝結而成的史實 將它們連結

看看能交錯出什麼火花囉.
